People are mad.

Seriously, people are just fucking batshit insane sometimes. I won't lie, I'm hardly the most normal of people, but even I think that there are times when people just do not see the logical side.

Interesting thought for the day. Why is it that when I run Windows on one of my computers (possibly the worst operating system ever, due to its power-hungry, resource-consuming nature) it'll run fine, but when I try to run an efficient, lightweight version of Linux, my computer almost just dies? I'm thinking kernel panic, as is one of my more technology-literate friends, but again, it makes no sense.

Are you getting the idea of this blog now? The world makes no sense.

Good day to you all.

First post - Opening the floodgates of Chaos

Ok. Right, let's begin logically, since it's one of the few little nuggets of it that you'll see on this blog.

I'm Jon. 18 years of age. Charmed, I'm sure.
While I was sorta the reason that someone else began blogging, they in turn inspired me. Strange, I know.

This blog is going to be a dumping ground for all of my weird thoughts and musings, and probably one or two rants too. Beginning with a few that I recently posted elsewhere, just to get the ball rolling.

What is time? Is it a physical thing, or is it just perceived? Do we create time with our minds? Or does it actually exist? If it exists, surely we should be able to control it. Or at the very least understand quite how it works. But if we could control time, every moment in time and space would probably end in chaos. Past and present versions of the same person would be on the same time plane and would thus cause the Grandfather Paradox, in that they could go back and kill their grandfather, and would not cease to exist, though they could never have been born.

Parallel universes. Theoretically, every time we make a decision, we create a new universe identical to our current one, but we create one for every possible outcome to the decision. Since this happens with every being in the universe, every random event, etc. and in every parallel universe, the rate at which new universes are being created must be at some sort of super-exponential rate.

I know that there must be some sort of problem with my theories, but these are all just random musings. I don't necessarily take the time to make sure that they're 100% accurate.

And so, the floodgates are now open. Expect insanity.

This is Jon, signing out from the Fires of Insanity. G'night.
